As collegians, people don't have to wear uniforms; instead, they wear whatever they are in favor of.  For my part, I think it is nice to wear a uniform due to several wherefores.  First, people who are in uniforms look neat and regulated.  Second, they are also the symbols of one's spirit and impression. Moreover, as they have an outing, it would be much more visible in a heavy crowd.  In addition, some uniforms are smashing since they are customized and ingenious.  In the long run, the practice of wearing a uniform is absolutely an excellent system without a doubt.

Expressing an Opinion - 1

In 1999, after a group of collegians in Northwestern University vindicated another student's innocence, the matter triggered the discussion over the death penalty in America.  Yet, I support that the penalty should exist for these reasons below.  First of all, since some people may consider it brutal to deprive a person of his life even though he might be a criminal, I hold that it serves him right; in my view, a convict should think of the consequence just before he does something illegal, and once he does it, he has to shoulder the penalty instead of shirking the punishment against laws protecting human rights.  Secondly, as long as the death penalty is abolished, the whole society must be in a state of chaos; those who commit crimes will never be afraid of the coming of the retribution.  Also, I am of the opinion that if the death sentence exists, the public will definitely live in peace and happiness without worrying about the misfortune's happening to them.  In light of all the points mentioned, it is undeniable that the existence of the death penalty is dominant to a certain extent.

Comparing - 2 - Revised

Compare the two dominant Americans, called John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, you can find they have something identical to each other's.  First of all, they both played an important role in American Revolution.  Secondly, John was a delegate to the Continental Congress and so was Thomas.  Also, they both involved in Declaration of Independence, and assumed the signer and of it.  Moreover, the twain who studied biography also studied and practiced law.  Most unbelievable of all, they even died on the same day, July 4, 1826.  In sum, these sagas above, which are absolutely worth emulating myself on, are definitely remarkable; undeniably, they are veritably sages.

Comparing - 1 - Revised

Every humanity has unique characteristics, and yet, the two people, called Stephanie Brooks and Ann Friedman, have the very familiar ones.  Firstly, I can see their eye color is the same and brown through the driver’s licenses.  Secondly, on them I can also gain the information that both of their hair is black.  Next, Stephanie is as tall as Ann; they are five feet and three inches tall.  To my surprise, even the date of their birthdays is identical, too.  In short, such instance as the twain might be seen somewhere across the globe; perhaps there are still some people who are similar to other ones everywhere; in the long run, the earth seems to be infinite after all.

Contrasting - 2

In an employer's shoes, choosing a person from the twain may be a bit difficult; yet, were I the boss, I might select Debra as my employee.  Firstly, Debra had education in BA English, a McGill university from 1993 to 1997, then a year later or so, she was in MA English, a university from Toronto; besides she studied in a college of Pennsylvania, PhD Linguistics, in 2000.  On the other hand, Lynn had education in BA Spanish, which is a New York university; that is, Debra has more education than Lynn.  Secondly, now I need an English instructor; hence, the one I hire must own some kind of experience, since Debra had been an instructor on Intensive English Program in a university of Vermont just like Lynn, who had been an English instructor in Tokyo Girls High School, Debra had more additional experience, such as a consultant and author, a teaching assistant, a server and whatnot.  Though Lynn had won Excellence in Teaching Award in 2004, Debra had delivered plenty of public prints.  With these wherefores above, I am of the opinion that Debra is going to become one of my personnel undeniably.

Contrasting - 1

As a common student, I must have the ability to tell which apartment is better; consequently, I am about to contrast the two ones, Fairfax Apartments and CAMPUS APTS.  Firstly, Fairfax Apartments provides two bedrooms apt. whereas CAMPUS APTS has one bedroom apt. and yet, I'm of the opinion that I may need one bedroom since I am just about to live alone.  Besides, the room CAMPUS APTS has is available immediately in large modern building.  Secondly, pets are not accepted in Fairfax Apartments; on the contrary, CAMPUS APTS is pet-allowed; hence, if I had a pet, CAMPUS APTS might be the best choice for me; yet, I don't have a pet, so the difference may not have an impact on me.  Moreover, different from Fairfax Apartments, CAMPUS APTS is unfurnished, which may make it more time-consuming to arrange the furniture.  Also, people always most concerned about the prices they have, and I'm no exception; the way Fairfax Apartments charges is available on Sept. 1, $1250 per month; on the other hand, the way CAMPUS APTS does is only $900 per month plus utilities.  However, as a pupil, I think it shouldn’t be a nuisance to arrange my furniture just because I can save more money per month; in the long run, with these comparisons between the twain, I deem that CAMPUS APTS is my best choice.

Comparing - 3

I initially confused my Chinese teacher, Selena, in senior high school with my math teacher, Mickey, who taught me as I was just a pupil in junior high school in my cram school.  Plenty of resemblances to the twain will be presented now so that you will know why I used to regard them as the very identical ones.   First of all, they were both smashing; their excellent exteriors attracted me at first sight.  Secondly, Selena taught me so hard that she replenished what was not in the textbook, and likewise, Mickey did the same thing; she always provided me hordes of extra handouts to practice so that my math would improve after I did them.  Also, Mickey always spoke in a soft accent, which was similar to Selena did; having their courses was just like basking myself in a classical music concert.  Moreover, the mien Selena had was imperishable; hence, all scholars not only in my class but in other classes showed respect to her.  Yet, Mickey also had the same one so the students in the cram school like her so much.  In a word, the similarities they had were so wondrous, and it shouldn't be a surprise that I used to confuse them oftentimes.

Giving Reasons - Revised

Cynth, an excellent novelist from Taichung, launched her first novel composed of one hundred thousand words or so as she was a senior high school student, and became my favorite writer at the moment I read her masterpiece.  Undeniably, she was so outstanding that I could not help admiring her.  Actually, if I could have an opportunity to interview her, I would ask her something about the writing skills and the amazing achievement.  First of all, I’d ask her how she could have the perseverance to spend almost six years only to write a book.  Next, I wondered how a senior high school student could write so well and the sentences were extremely fascinating.  For I was also a Chinese novelist, I was eager to know methods to improve my writing techniques since she was definitely a perfect paragon what I could emulate myself to.  After the interview, I might take pictures with her and set them on my desk; hence, whenever I wrote, I would recall her so that I could regain stamina and persevered.  Yet, she devoted herself to Cynthiaism, which originally meant the goddess, Diana, in Rome and a bard, called Propertius, often named the main characters in love poets Cynthia; in sum, I was convinced that I would absolutely be more romantic in writing after the interview.

Describing a Person - Revised

About three days ago, I went to Kaohsiung with my friend, called Julie, and unfortunately, she got lost as I was purchasing my dinner in the night market.  What's worse, she didn't own a cell phone, which made it much more difficult for me to look for her.  Hence, some directions are about to be presented now in order to find her.  Firstly, I can tell you that she was one hundred and sixty centimeters tall or so, and she had long black hair reaching her waist; yet, she preferred to wear her hair in a ponytail.  Also, she wore a pair of spectacles whose frames are light yellow.  Moreover, the fantastic dress whose placket was interlaced to the slate gray and the ivory was what she was dressed in that day and she wore a pair of black beige boots.  I remember that she had a lavender bag on the shoulder; there were some animation patterns on it.  If anyone sees a person who matches the information above, please inform me by the e-mail as soon as possible.  Thanks a lot.

How to Reduce Stress - Revised

As senior high school students, it is inevitable to be under great pressure; hence, you should do something to release it.  First of all, preview what you will learn in class the next day so that it will be much easier for you to understand what the teacher says.  Secondly, review what you have learned today and practice as much as possible.  These two tips are the basic requirements to reduce stress, for procrastinating will do nothing but put more nasty pressure on you.  Yet, it'll be boring if your lives are filled with study; as a consequence, you need some recreation to relieve yourselves as well.  For instance, listen to the music as you are taking a rest in bed and try to let all the torments slip your mind; it will absolutely make you relaxed.  Also, do some exercise whenever you feel tired; it will do you good and is a great way to reduce stress, too.  As long as you conform to these easy but useful tips, I hold that you will definitely be an expert in releasing pressure; after all, "do the right thing at the right time" is the best policy.
